The rehab of these three pump stations for the City of Fife required sewage bypass pumping at each site. The work included replacement of two existing pumps with new 250 GPM submersible vortex pumps, water system improvements and installation of a new valve vault requiring structural shoring and dewatering. Also involved was the installation of wetwell mixing/aeration systems, cured-in-place lining of influent lines, and concrete repair and coating of the wetwells. Award Construction self performed all mechanical, civil, and concrete work. The project was substantially completed with 90 working days of contract time remaining.
